About the Role:
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations and ensuring the delivery of high-quality food and exceptional customer service. Your focus will be on working closely with our team to develop a positive and productive work environment, and to provide a dining experience that exceeds our students' expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Craft menus that cater to diverse tastes and dietary needs, and lead a team of chefs in the preparation and presentation of meals.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, ensuring high standards of food quality and service.
- Maintain strict adherence to health and safety regulations, and ensure a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Lead by example, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and efficiency within the kitchen team.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a high-volume, quality-focused environment.
- Ability to manage, train, and support a team, and to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent coaching, delegation, and influencing skills, with the ability to adapt to challenges and opportunities.
- Financially astute, with the ability to create and maintain budgets and drive commercial performance.
- Meticulous organizational abilities and a high attention to detail.
- Empathetic, clear, and highly effective verbal and written communication.
