Finance Business Partner Role

Aramark UK is seeking a highly skilled Finance Business Partner to join our Finance Team. As a key member of our Workplace Experience Group, you will be responsible for supporting the Finance Director and other senior leaders in driving business growth and financial performance.

Your primary focus will be on producing financial models for prospective clients, evaluating our current operating and commercial models, and reviewing baseline performance to identify opportunities for improvement. You will also be responsible for certain planning and reporting tasks throughout the financial year, including the annual planning cycle, rolling forecast cycle, and month-end close.

This is a full-time and permanent role that can be home-based, but we also have offices in Leeds and Farnborough. As a Finance Business Partner, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our sector teams to develop and understand quality financial information, leading commercial modeling and client returns for new business proposals, and liaising with sector directors to produce financial models and client returns for key retention business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the sector teams in producing and understanding quality financial information
  • Lead commercial modeling and completion of client returns for new business proposals
  • Liaise with sector directors to produce financial models and client returns for key retention business
  • Take ownership of keeping Salesforce up to date for the Workplace Sector
  • Lead the key metrics process for the sectors in terms of data collation and commentary
  • Support in the monitoring of the Risks & Opportunities schedule
  • Create a culture where cash and collection of is valued as highly as profit
  • Develop a strong understanding of financial systems and processes
  • Prepare key balance sheet reconciliations for the line of business
Requirements:
  • Part qualification in ACCA/CIMA (or equivalent)
  • Good communication skills; oral, written, and presentation
  • Ability to take a written request and turn it into a financial model
  • Extensive experience of financial systems & Microsoft Office packages, particularly Excel
  • Some broader business awareness beyond the financial arena
