Aramark UK is seeking a skilled Financial Business Partner to join our Finance Team. As a key member of the team, you will support the Finance Director, Director of Operations, and Sales Directors in all activities associated with growing our business.
The primary focus of this role is to produce financial models for prospective clients in response to tenders, evaluate our current operating and commercial models to support retention of clients, and review baseline performance to support sharing of best practices to deliver commercial outcomes.
You will also be responsible for certain planning and reporting tasks throughout key periods within the financial year, including the annual planning cycle, rolling forecast cycle, and month-end close including balance sheet reconciliations.
This is a full-time and permanent role which can be home-based, but if office working is your preference, we have offices in Leeds and Farnborough.

- Support the sector teams in producing and understanding quality financial information - developing understanding and financials and process as required.
- Leading the commercial modelling and completion of client returns for new business proposals, partnering with the Sales Directors to close new business.
- Liaising with the sector Directors of Ops to produce financial models and client returns used for key retention business.
- Take ownership of keeping Salesforce up to date for the Workplace Sector.
- Lead the key metrics process for the sectors in terms of data collation and commentary as to meaning.
- Support in the monitoring of the Risks & Opportunities schedule, updating delivery and mitigation plans.
- Create the culture where cash and collection of is valued as highly as profit.
- Develop a strong understanding of the financial systems and processes to ensure things are done quickly and efficiently - challenge the status quo to improve processes.
- Prepare key balance sheet reconciliations for the line of business and ensure integrity of the balance sheet.
- Engages the business in supporting the financial agenda and ensures the team's understanding of the key processes.
- Can support the operational teams to develop financial understanding and processes.
- Develops an understanding for the 'why' and can articulate this to non-finance colleagues to show the importance of Data/Information and the commercial impact this has on the Sector.
- Part qualification in ACCA/CIMA (or equivalent)
- Good communication skills; oral, written and presentation
- Ability to take a written request and turn it into a financial model, with narrative of assumptions and how these have come about
- Extensive experience of financial systems & Microsoft Office packages, particularly Excel
- Some broader business awareness beyond the financial arena
- Able to discuss objectives with those around them in a constructive way to ensure projects and financial projections are implemented/delivered on time and on budget
