ICT Engineer - Hybrid Role - Competitive Salary

As an ICT Engineer, you will be an integral part of a dynamic engineering team, collaborating closely with clients to ensure their technical needs are met effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver advanced technical assistance to resolve intricate issues.
  • Diagnose and rectify hardware, software, and network challenges.
  • Manage escalated incidents, ensuring timely resolution in accordance with service level agreements.
  • Foster strong partnerships with clients and external service providers to address technical concerns.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will possess a solid background in IT Support or IT Service Desk roles, with the following qualifications:

  • Experience in configuring and supporting Microsoft Windows desktop and server environments.
  • Proficiency in managing Exchange On-Premises and Online setups.
  • Expertise in terminal server configurations, including Citrix, AVD, and RDS.
  • Knowledge of Active Directory management and administration.
  • Strong grasp of Group Policy and its applications.
  • Comprehensive networking skills, including CLI, Subnetting, and NAT.
  • Experience in configuring and supporting routers from vendors like Cisco, HP, and Draytek.
  • Familiarity with firewall configurations and support, including Watchguard and SonicWALL.
  • Hands-on experience with HP ProLiant and Dell PowerEdge server hardware.
  • Understanding of storage technologies such as NAS, NetApps, and Synology.
  • Solid knowledge of Office 365, Microsoft Azure, and SSL Certificates.
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2012 and later, including setup, configuration, and maintenance.
  • Understanding of networking technologies, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and firewalls.
  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies, including Hyper-V and VMware.
  • Proficiency in automation scripting languages like Python and PowerShell.

Educational Background and Experience

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or IT Operations Management.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience providing technical support in a systems environment, preferably within SaaS companies.
