Key Responsibilities:
- Health and Safety: Ensure that all site operations are conducted in accordance with our Health and Safety Plan, and that all employees are trained and equipped to work safely.
- Environmental: Ensure that all site operations are conducted in accordance with our Environmental Management Plan, and that all employees are aware of their responsibilities in reducing waste and minimizing the impact of our operations on the environment.
- Compliance: Ensure that all statutory legislation and company regulations are adhered to, and that all employees are aware of their responsibilities in this regard.
- Operations: Ensure that all site operations are conducted in a safe and efficient manner, and that all employees are trained and equipped to perform their duties effectively.
- Distribution: Work with our logistics function to ensure that all operational procedures are in place to achieve the highest customer service levels.
- Quality: Work with our technical function to ensure that all operational procedures are in place to achieve the highest quality levels.
- Personal Development: Encourage and support the development of all employees, and ensure that they have the necessary training and resources to perform their duties effectively.
- Sustainability: Identify and implement improvements to the sustainability of our site operations.
- Plant Operations: Ensure that all plant operations are conducted in a safe and efficient manner, and that all employees are trained and equipped to perform their duties effectively.
- Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to all employees, and ensure that they are aware of their responsibilities and expectations.
Requirements:
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in the cement, aggregates, RMC, and building products industry.
- Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels.
- Knowledge: Knowledge of cement, aggregates, RMC, and building products, as well as cross-functional understanding of business operations.
