Electrical Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team at MTC OPERATIONS LIMITED. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality technical training to learners in a variety of electrical subjects, including level 2, 3, and HNC.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver effective training sessions on electrical principles and industrial electrical control, motor control, and panel building.
  • Manage and develop comprehensive teaching and learning experiences, including the creation of learning content and schemes-of-work.
  • Coordinate the integration of relevant training offers from industry partners into the apprenticeship scheme of work.
  • Monitor the learning environment and ensure learner workplace Health, Safety, and welfare.
  • Support learners in achieving their apprenticeship goals and provide regular constructive feedback.
Requirements:
  • Industry-related qualifications, such as HND or NVQs.
  • 18th Edition qualification to deliver Industrial Electrical engineering.
  • Functional Skills Level 2 / GCSEs in Maths and English grade C or above.

We are looking for a candidate with a high level of electrical engineering knowledge, preferably gained from industrial experience. Experience in delivery of electrical principles and industrial electrical control, motor control, and panel building is essential. Evidence of lean practices and training delivery is also desirable.
