Job Title: General Foreman

As a General Foreman at Heidelberg Materials AG, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our site operations. Your primary responsibility will be to supervise and direct the operational team to achieve its performance objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Health and Safety: Ensure the highest level of health and safety objectives are met in line with our Health and Safety Plan.
  • Environmental: Operate to the highest level of environmental objectives in line with our Environmental Management Plan.
  • Compliance: Ensure all statutory legislation and company regulations are adhered to.
  • Operations: Achieve optimum Rail production levels at the lowest operation cost.
  • Distribution: Work with the logistics function to ensure operational procedures meet customer service levels.
  • Quality: Work with the technical function to ensure operational procedures meet quality standards.
  • Sustainability: Identify, develop, and implement improvements to the sustainability of the site.
  • Plant Operations: Ensure maximum plant availability through good maintenance programs.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years relevant operational experience.
  • Skills: Management/Leadership Skills, Self-starter, Energetic, Hands-on approach, Open-minded to new ideas, Practical, Results-focused, Motivational leader, Team-orientated, Excellent communicator, Strong people management skills, Health and Safety knowledge.
