Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Concession Store Director to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for the overall performance of your concession, driving sales growth, and ensuring exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operations
    • Manage concession operations, ensuring delivery of key performance indicators (KPIs)
    • Plan and prioritize workload to optimize team productivity and efficiency
    • Train and coach the team to best practice, promoting a culture of excellence
    • Utilize business communication tools to oversee task completion and meet deadlines
  • Controls
    • Support with planning store schedules, aligning with trading patterns and business expectations
    • Be accountable for controlling wages within the concession
    • Support with compliance and problem-solving related to payroll issues
    • Guide the team to work within set timeframes, setting realistic expectations daily
  • Sales
    • Understand business and customer expectations, motivating the team to deliver exceptional customer experiences
    • Understand product features and benefits, training the team to maximize sales opportunities
    • Understand assigned KPI targets, communicating them clearly to the team, and executing and tracking against these targets
  • Development
    • Understand the Frasers Group structure, elevation strategy, and initiatives
    • Identify internal talent, utilizing development opportunities, and supporting performance management processes to drive and reward exceptional performance
    • Be self-driven in personal development, taking on developmental feedback constructively
    • Create an environment that encourages and rewards performance fairly and equitably
  • Leadership and Management
    • Inspire the team, acting as a role model, and promoting a culture of excellence
    • Support the development, coaching, and motivation of the team to achieve success, holding them accountable where necessary
    • Take responsibility for the store, being accountable for any outcomes
    • Work closely with the Cluster Manager, contributing to the success of the concession as a whole

Requirements

  • Supervisory/management experience in a fast-paced, high-volume retail or leisure environment
  • Ability to positively impact results in sales, payroll, and stock loss
  • Proven record of developing a management team and talented individuals
  • Ability to work well under pressure and to strict deadlines
  • Commitment to achieving the highest store standards and customer service experiences
  • Strong commercial awareness and ability to analyze reports
