Kitchen Team Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Service Leader to join our team at Gloucester Services. As a Service Leader, you will be responsible for leading shifts to ensure the team is delivering excellent customer service and brand excellence. You will be responsible for managing the deployment of colleagues on a day-to-day basis, ensuring the right people are in the right place at the right time. You will also be responsible for ensuring health and safety and food safety checks are carried out in line with our policies.
Your Responsibilities- Lead the shift to ensure the team are delivering excellent customer service and brand excellence
- Manage the deployment of colleagues on a day-to-day basis, ensuring the right people are in the right place at the right time
- Ensure health and safety and food safety checks are carried out in line with our policies
- Support colleagues with any customer complaints, ensuring a positive resolution
- Support the training of new colleagues through their 12-week induction journey, refresher and any other relevant training
- Ensure the team maintain a clean, tidy and safe environment that is compliant with relevant legislation and internal policies and procedures
- Implement products and standards throughout the department in line with company guidelines
We are looking for a Service Leader who has the ability to lead and motivate a team on a daily basis in a fast-moving environment. Great communication skills and a can-do attitude are essential, as well as high standards of excellence within delivery of quality food, customer service and cleanliness. Experience of leading a team in a fast-paced, high-volume catering environment would be a distinct advantage, although a willingness to learn and a positive attitude go a long way too.
