Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated HR Consultant to join our dynamic team at our Weobley location. This role will serve as the primary resource for employee relations matters.

The ideal candidate will possess experience in a similar HR role, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of general HR functions, along with the ability to foster and maintain positive working relationships. A solid grasp of employment legislation and regulations is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage employee absence and attendance.
  • Assist in payroll preparation.
  • Coordinate occupational health initiatives.
  • Support recruitment and selection processes.
  • Advise line managers on employee relations issues and best practices.
  • Generate accurate HR metrics (e.g., turnover, absence rates).
  • Implement initiatives to enhance the employee experience.
  • Oversee the time and attendance management system.

Candidate Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources or a related field is preferred.
  • CIPD Level 5 qualification is desirable; however, we offer sponsorship and support towards obtaining this qualification.
  • Experience in HR within a manufacturing context is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy are crucial.
  • A proactive approach to continuous improvement, with a focus on supporting current and future business needs.
