Job Title: Client Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Client Manager to join our team at AR Hine Associates. As a Client Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, delivering high-quality accounting, tax, and advisory services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of small business clients, ensuring their accounting and tax needs are met.
  • Prepare and review statutory accounts, tax returns, VAT returns, and management accounts.
  • Advise clients on tax planning, business strategies, and financial planning.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Provide exceptional client service, maintaining strong relationships and addressing client queries promptly.
  • Liaise with HMRC and other external bodies on behalf of clients.
  • Conduct client meetings.
  • Work collaboratively with the AR Hine Associates team to ensure clients receive a seamless service.

Requirements:

  • Started Accredited accounting qualifications, such as ACCA or AAT, are ideal but not required.
  • Previous experience in a practice environment is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting and tax regulations in the UK.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a portfolio of clients.
  • Competent in cloud accounting software (QuickBooks etc.).
  • Detail-oriented with strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Proactive, client-focused approach with the ability to identify opportunities for clients.
