We are seeking a highly skilled National Account Manager to join our team at Fresh Direct. As a National Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of national accounts, developing and executing strategic joint business plans with our customers, and ensuring that company profitability, customer requirements, and individual growth targets are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of national accounts, including developing and executing strategic joint business plans with customers.
  • Ensure that company profitability, customer requirements, and individual growth targets are met.
  • Liaise directly with key stakeholders to ensure implementation of account plans.
  • Responsible for price review implementation, acting as a consultant and market expert for customers.
  • Understand competitor activity and proposals, ensuring that customers are offered the best local and national solutions.
  • Comprehensive record keeping via Salesforce.
Requirements:
  • Good commercial acumen with the ability to deal with numbers.
  • Demonstrable experience of delivering against targets.
  • Genuine interest in the hospitality industry and ideally hold some experience of working within national frameworks agreements, supply chain, contract caterers, pubs, and restaurants.
  • Proven ability to build strong, long-lasting relationships.
  • First-rate communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong IT skills, including PowerPoint and Excel.
