About the Role:

As a National Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of national accounts, developing and executing strategic joint business plans with our customers, and driving sales growth through effective relationship-building and negotiation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of national accounts, including developing and executing strategic joint business plans with customers
  • Drive sales growth through effective relationship-building and negotiation with customers
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure budgeted sales targets, account profitability, customer satisfaction, and retention are achieved
  • Responsible for price review implementation and acting as a consultant and market expert for customers
  • Understand competitor activity and proposals to ensure the best local and national solutions are offered to customers
Requirements:
  • Good commercial acumen with the ability to deal with numbers
  • Demonstrable experience of delivering against targets
  • Genuine interest in the hospitality industry and ideally experience of working within national frameworks agreements, supply chain, contract caterers, pubs, and restaurants
  • Proven ability to build strong, long-lasting relationships
  • First-rate communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong IT skills, including PowerPoint and Excel
