Accounts Payable Coordinator

Role Overview:
As an Accounts Payable Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in the financial department, ensuring the accurate processing and timely payment of supplier invoices. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellence will help maintain our operational efficiency and financial health.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Invoice Management: Handle incoming invoices from suppliers, addressing any queries and ensuring prompt processing.
  • Timely Payments: Foster strong relationships with suppliers by ensuring payments are made on schedule, which is vital for maintaining favorable business terms.
  • Financial Compliance: Ensure all transactions are recorded accurately, adhering to accounting standards and legal requirements.
  • Cost Control: Verify amounts owed, reconcile supplier statements, and identify discrepancies or duplications.
  • Collaboration: Work alongside the Accounts Payable team and other departments to resolve issues and enhance processes.

Essential Skills and Experience:
  • In-depth knowledge of Accounts Payable processes.
  • Understanding of the Procure-to-Pay cycle and basic accounting principles.
  • Experience in a Shared Service Environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication abilities and a customer-focused mindset.
  • Proficiency in Excel and other financial systems.
  • AAT qualification is preferred.

Desirable Skills:
  • Familiarity with Coupa, Oracle, or SAP systems.
  • Additional certifications such as APA (Accounts Payable Certification).
