Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative to join our team at Jackie Wilsher Staff Service. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse, handling all products received, and allocating them accordingly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receiving and processing goods, including unloading and loading containers upon arrival and departure.
  • Allocating products within the warehouse, coding, and labeling them correctly.
  • Operating forklift trucks, including Counterbalance and Reach FLT, to move goods around the warehouse.
  • Picking and packing products ready for dispatch, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Using warehouse management systems to maintain accurate records and update databases.
  • Supporting with stock takes, inventory management, and ensuring the warehouse is clean and tidy.
  • Adhering to health and safety protocols, company procedures, and compliance regulations.

Requirements:

  • 2 years of previous warehouse experience, preferably in a similar role.
  • Valid FLT licenses, including Counterbalance and Reach FLT.
  • Knowledge of picking and packing to order, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

Working Hours: 07:30am-16:30pm, Monday to Friday (40 hour-week), with no flexibility on working hours.
