Your Responsibilities
  • Prepare and present food to the highest culinary standards.
  • Oversee a small team of culinary and front-of-house staff; manage scheduling.
  • Coordinate and support your team to ensure seamless daily operations.
  • Produce dishes according to established recipes; maintain comprehensive knowledge of menu items.
  • Conduct monthly inventory counts and perform necessary brand standard evaluations.
  • Assist in the successful execution of special events and functions.
  • Ensure exceptional service quality for all patrons.
  • Manage food production and inventory levels to minimize waste.
  • Place orders and maintain records of stock usage.
  • Complete all opening and closing checklists and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Act as a mentor for new team members, guiding them through kitchen procedures and standards.
  • Participate in routine kitchen cleaning and maintenance.
  • Engage in relevant training as required.
Qualifications
  • Prior experience in a culinary or food service management role.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Knowledge or certification in Health & Safety and Food Safety regulations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Possession of one of the following qualifications or equivalent: BSC (Catering), MHCIM, HND, City and Guilds 706/1 and 2, NVQ levels 2 and 3.
