Environmental Consultant/ Project Manager

Location: United Kingdom

We are in search of a proactive and knowledgeable Environmental Consultant/Project Manager to become a vital part of our team. This position involves overseeing a variety of environmental initiatives, particularly those related to oil contamination and land remediation. Core Responsibilities:

  • Lead several environmental initiatives, ensuring timely completion, adherence to budget constraints, and maintaining exceptional quality standards.
  • Manage project finances, including budgeting, invoicing, and payment processes.
  • Source and supervise subcontractors, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Engage in proactive communication with clients, providing updates and managing their expectations effectively.
  • Deliver high-quality, commercially viable solutions while ensuring client satisfaction throughout the project duration.
  • Conduct field assessments, collect data, and perform research to evaluate site contamination levels.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A degree in a relevant scientific discipline, with additional qualifications in environmental assessment or management preferred.
  • Demonstrated industry experience, showcasing strong technical and project management capabilities.
  • Familiarity with international environmental and social standards (e.g., IFC, World Bank) is a plus.
  • Experience in sectors such as renewable energy, transportation, or real estate is beneficial.
  • Strong financial acumen, with a proven track record of managing project budgets and teams effectively.
