We are looking for a proactive and skilled Environmental Consultant/Project Manager to oversee a variety of environmental initiatives. This role focuses on addressing issues related to oil pollution and land contamination, providing an excellent opportunity for a professional eager to contribute to impactful projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead multiple environmental initiatives, ensuring timely completion, adherence to budget constraints, and compliance with the highest quality standards.
- Manage project finances, including budgeting, invoicing, and payment processing.
- Source and supervise subcontractors, ensuring all health and safety regulations are met.
- Maintain effective communication with clients, offering regular updates and managing their expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide high-quality, commercially viable solutions while ensuring client satisfaction.
- Conduct field surveys, collect data, and perform desk-based research to evaluate site contamination levels.
Qualifications/Experience:
- A degree in a science-related field, with additional qualifications in environmental impact assessment or management preferred.
- Demonstrated industry experience with strong technical and project management capabilities.
- Familiarity with international environmental and social standards (e.g., IFC, World Bank) is advantageous.
- Experience in sectors such as renewable energy, transportation, or real estate is beneficial.
- Strong financial acumen with a proven track record of managing project budgets and teams effectively.
