Job Title: Environmental Sustainability Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Sustainability Manager to join our team at Allen & York. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing environmental projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Manage multiple environmental projects, overseeing the financial control, budgeting, invoicing, and managing payments.
- Subcontractor Management: Procure and manage subcontractors, ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations.
- Client Communication: Maintain proactive communication with clients, providing regular updates and managing expectations.
- Quality Assurance: Deliver high-quality, commercially focused solutions and ensure client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Site Assessment: Conduct field surveys, gather data, and carry out desk-based research to assess site contamination levels.
Requirements:
- Education: A science-based degree, with additional qualifications in environmental impact assessment, environmental management, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: Relevant industry experience, with strong technical and project management skills.
- Knowledge: Knowledge of international environmental and social standards (e.g., IFC, World Bank) is desirable.
- Commercial Awareness: Strong commercial awareness, with proven ability to manage project finances and teams effectively.
