About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Professional to join our team at Advance. As a Support Professional, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs to live the lives they choose.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with personal care and hygiene needs, ensuring the highest level of dignity and respect for our customers.
  • Administer medication as required, following established protocols and procedures.
  • Support with meal preparation and cooking, promoting healthy eating habits and independence.
  • Accompany customers to medical appointments, providing emotional support and advocacy.
  • Engage in social activities, fostering meaningful relationships and a sense of community.
  • Support customers in developing independent skills, such as personal finance and time management.
  • Contribute to maintaining accurate records and updating care plans as necessary.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development, ensuring expertise in best practices and industry standards.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse individuals and teams.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently.
