About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Thames Water as a Financial Performance Manager, where you will play a critical role in the management of our Capital Programme Financial reporting, review, and challenge.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain accurate and timely financial reporting, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Develop and implement financial performance metrics and dashboards to support proactive management of the programme.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decisions, including budgeting, forecasting, and commercial settlements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management, programme sponsors, and external partners.

Requirements

  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to engage with colleagues at all levels.
  • Qualified accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA or equivalent) with experience in financial management and analysis.
  • Experience working in a utilities or water organization is desirable but not essential.

  • Competitive salary up to £75,000 per annum, depending on experience.
