Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Financial Performance Manager to join our team at Thames Water. As a key member of our Capital Programme, you will be responsible for managing financial reporting, reviewing, and challenging our programme.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and enhance financial performance controls and associated reporting to support proactive management of the programme.
  • Implement our Programme Sponsorship model to improve financial reporting processes.
  • Provide business performance against budget and prior periods by identifying insights across financial and customer trends.
  • Support the Business with the reporting and outcome of commercial settlements and interpretation to senior management.

Requirements

  • Strong leadership skills to engage with colleagues at all levels throughout the business.
  • Qualified accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA or equivalent).
  • Experience of working in a utilities/water organisation is desirable but not essential.

  • Competitive salary up to £75,000 per annum, depending on experience.
  • Annual Leave - 26 days holiday per year increasing to 30 with the length of service (Plus bank holidays).
