Occupational Therapist Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Neurosciences team as a Team Lead. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, leading a team of Occupational Therapists and support workers across multiple wards.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of Occupational Therapists and support workers, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
- Develop and implement clinical strategies to improve patient outcomes and service delivery.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care pathways and effective communication.
- Supervise and mentor junior therapists, students, and assistants to ensure their development and growth.
- Contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures, ensuring they are aligned with best practice and evidence-based.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care.
- Postgraduate qualification in Occupational Therapy (BSc or equivalent).
- HCPC registration and evidence of ongoing CPD.
- Significant experience in an acute hospital setting, preferably in a leadership role.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
- Strong clinical expertise in Neurosciences, with a focus on patient assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation.
- Ability to work autonomously, prioritizing tasks and managing workload effectively.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and deliver results.
