Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and innovative Occupational Therapist to join our Assertive Outreach Team. As a Band 6 Occupational Therapist, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality occupational therapy services to individuals with complex needs.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide an efficiently administered and professionally competent occupational therapy service to individuals who use our Assertive Outreach Team services.
  • Manage a defined caseload of clients with complex needs, using evidence-based and client-centered principles to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate interventions in a range of settings.
  • Participate in the planning, development, and evaluation of occupational therapy services within the team, holding responsibility for defined projects.
  • Regularly supervise occupational therapy students on placement and contribute to the maintenance and development of the Trust's occupational therapy service.
