Employee Relations Case Advisor Opportunity

Venn Group is seeking a skilled Employee Relations Case Advisor to join an NHS organisation in South West London for a 3-4 month contract.

This is a full-time, on-site role with a competitive hourly rate of £20 - £23.53 PAYE. The ideal candidate will have NHS experience, although Public Sector experience is also suitable.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert advice to managers on Trust policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and offering general HR guidance to staff.
  • Lead HR efforts on Flexible Working applications and appeals, supporting managers to review the impact on individuals and the service.
  • Run regular reports on Flexible Working requests, identifying outliers and collaborating with senior leads to understand the reasons behind the data.
  • Collate and distribute packs for formal sickness and Flexible Working Hearings, ensuring timely distribution to the Panel, Management, and staff.
  • Take and transcribe notes/minutes of formal Employee Relations Meetings and Hearings, including Sickness, Disciplinary, Grievance, and Capability cases.
  • Offer general advice on Agenda for Change terms and conditions, Trust employment policies, and procedures.
  • Support Senior ER Advisors and HR Business Partnering team in delivering training sessions on HR policies, such as Managing Sickness Absence and Performance Management.
  • Provide one-to-one support to managers on procedures and policies.
