About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and efficient individual to provide administrative support to our team in East Hertfordshire. As a Reception and Administrative Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the reception area, welcoming service users and their families, and ensuring the smooth running of the waiting room.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the team, including answering telephone enquiries, taking messages, and sending out appointment letters and reminders.
  • Manage the duty email inbox and respond to queries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Work independently and apply a high degree of confidentiality to all work.
  • Follow Trust policies and procedures relevant to the role.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Advanced secretarial skills, including audio and shorthand.
  • Solid office and reception experience.
  • Experience within the NHS is an advantage.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
