About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Stress Engineer to join our team at Safran Seats. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the structural integrity of our aircraft seats.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of stress engineers to ensure tasks are completed to requirements, on time, and within budget.
  • Develop and implement stress analysis methods to minimize the risk of certification test failure.
  • Review and approve stress and structural documentation for internal and external customers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of stress analysis into the design process.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2:1 Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Structural Engineering.
  • Preferably MEng or PhD with specialization in FEA, simulation, dynamics, materials, and/or structures.
  • Proficient in root cause analysis (4D/8D/Ishikawa).
