Based in the UK, our focus is on the First Class and Business Class seating markets for wide-body aircraft.

In your role as the head of a Programme Focused Stress Team, you will oversee stress-related activities, ensure technical proficiency, and lead a team of skilled engineers.


Key Responsibilities:

  • In-depth understanding of aerospace regulations and engineering methodologies
  • Comprehensive planning and management of stress-related tasks
  • Evaluate and endorse stress documentation and engineering drawings
  • Collaborate with the Design team to achieve cost and weight objectives
  • Facilitate root cause analysis processes

Requirements:

  • A minimum of a 2:1 Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Structural Engineering
  • Preferably an MEng or PhD with a focus on FEA, simulation, dynamics, materials, or structures
  • Over 10 years of experience in the Aerospace sector or a related field
  • Expertise in root cause analysis techniques
