About Carbon60
Carbon60 is a leading chemical manufacturer seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineering Manager to join their team. As a key member of the Engineering department, you will be responsible for the management of the Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering departments, overseeing a team of 25 staff and contractors.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the Mechanical Maintenance department, ensuring efficient and effective maintenance operations.
- Lead Mechanical Project Engineering teams, delivering projects on time and within budget in an industrial manufacturing environment.
- Develop and implement Computerised Maintenance Management Systems, ensuring seamless integration with existing processes.
- Foster a culture of safety, health, and environmental responsibility, ensuring compliance with all legal and statutory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
Requirements
- A minimum of 10 years' experience in a Mechanical Engineering role, with at least 5 years in a supervisory position.
- A Mechanical Engineering HNC or degree, with a strong understanding of industrial manufacturing processes.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
- Fluency in Computerised Maintenance Management Systems and a strong understanding of safety, health, and environmental regulations.
