Are you an experienced sales engineer with a strong technical background and a passion for innovative solutions? Do you have a track record of success in international markets, particularly with complex engineered systems? If this resonates with you, this position may be the perfect opportunity...

About the Company

Heliex Power Limited specializes in the design, manufacturing, and assembly of Steam Screw Expander generator sets, catering to diverse markets globally. Utilizing proprietary technology, they provide sustainable energy solutions by harnessing waste steam from industrial operations. From small-scale artisans to large corporations, Heliex Power empowers clients to optimize their waste heat and steam, contributing to environmental sustainability.

The company is now focused on enhancing its sales initiatives to seize significant market potential. To facilitate this growth, they are looking to recruit an EMEA Sales Engineering Manager to strengthen the existing sales team and cultivate new business relationships with key clients who can benefit from their innovative solutions in sectors such as food and beverage, chemical processing, and waste-to-energy.

Key Responsibilities

The primary objective of this role is to drive commercial growth across international markets. Depending on the candidate's skills and aspirations, the role can be tailored to have a specific focus or a broader scope. Ultimately, this position will play a vital role in achieving year-on-year sales growth with new clients in targeted sectors.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing, supporting, and coordinating all activities related to new commercial clients to ensure the achievement of quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Conducting regular field sales visits within the designated territory to foster organic growth and secure new client relationships.
  • Engaging in frequent international travel as required.
  • Delivering exceptional customer service to all clients, which includes making presentations, drafting proposals, and providing precise technical information (with support from the technical team) to maximize conversion opportunities.
  • Maintaining a high level of product, material, and process knowledge to achieve desired sales outcomes.
  • Leading strategic planning and event coordination to ensure successful project execution.
  • Keeping an accurate record of converted and potential clients along with all relevant information and documentation.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • Experience in solution-oriented sales within related industries, ideally with engineered capital equipment or process technologies.
  • A proven history of acquiring global clients, particularly within the EMEA region.
  • A strong track record in identifying and engaging new prospective clients.
  • A proactive self-starter mentality, thriving in a dynamic small to medium-sized enterprise environment.
  • The ability to work independently, taking full responsibility for achieving sales objectives.
  • A consultative sales approach with demonstrated success in a solution-based sales environment.
  • Resilience and effective skills in generating contacts and selling at various organizational levels.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Office and CRM systems, with the capability to analyze and interpret data for informed decision-making.
  • The ability to manage multiple opportunities, navigate objections, and deliver sales projects under tight deadlines and shifting priorities.

Compensation Package:

This role offers a competitive base salary, a car allowance, an annual bonus potential of up to 25%, and private medical coverage. There are significant opportunities for career advancement and to play a pivotal role in the company's ambitious growth strategy.
