About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced National Account Manager to join our team at MacGregor Black. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a pivotal role in fostering and expanding our business relationships within the grocery retail sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cultivate and Maintain Strong Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing grocery/independent retail accounts, acting as the primary point of contact.
  • Identify New Business Opportunities: Identify new business opportunities within the grocery retail sector and prospect and onboard new accounts by presenting our product portfolio, value propositions, and differentiation in the market.
  • Develop and Execute Strategic Account Plans: Develop and execute strategic account plans that align with overall company objectives, defining sales targets, promotional strategies, and collaborative initiatives to enhance market presence and revenue.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate closely with marketing, product development, and supply chain teams to align on product launches, marketing campaigns, and inventory management.
  • Monitor Sales Performance: Monitor sales performance, track progress against targets, and generate regular reports for internal stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Strong Account Management Experience: Proven experience in account management, with a strong track record of developing and maintaining relationships with key accounts.
  • Business Development Skills: Ability to identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to win new business.
  • Project Management Skills: Ability to manage multiple priorities, work to timescales, and lead projects.
