Technical Change Analyst Role

We are seeking a skilled Technical Change Analyst to join our End User Computing (EUC) Product Group at the Financial Conduct Authority. As a Technical Change Analyst, you will play a crucial role in managing change requests impacting the Azure, Microsoft 365, and Windows estate.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyse and assess the impact of proposed technical changes on the Azure, Microsoft 365, and Windows estate using agreed processes and best practices.
  • Identify, manage, and mitigate risks associated with technical changes.
  • Lead and coordinate technical change implementations with suppliers and internal resources.
  • Build up a roadmap and calendar of upcoming changes to facilitate planning and coordination.
  • Opportunity to make a tangible impact on the organisation by shaping and building best practices in change management as we grow the FCA's Azure and Microsoft estate.

Requirements
  • Ability to analyse, manage, and assess the impact and risks of technical changes.
  • Strong understanding of Cloud concepts and infrastructure, particularly in the Azure, Microsoft 365, and Windows sphere.
  • Ability to identify and manage risks associated with technical changes.
  • Experience of working with third party providers, e.g. suppliers, Microsoft technical support, consultancies etc.
