About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Hasmonean Multi-Academy Trust. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide academic support to students in the classroom, adapting and explaining work to meet their individual needs
  • Work one-to-one with students, pre-teaching lessons, explaining classwork and homework, and running small groups to support their learning
  • Assist with whole-school and year-group assemblies and activities, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements
  • English and Maths GCSE or equivalent
  • Flexibility and a team player mindset
  • Patience and understanding to work with students with a range of challenges, including dyslexia, ADHD, and ASC
