Key Responsibilities- Support students in the classroom by adapting and explaining work, helping them to focus and engage with their learning.
- Provide one-to-one support to students, pre-teaching lessons, explaining classwork and homework, and running small groups to help them overcome challenges.
- Assist with whole-school and year-group assemblies and activities, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- English and Maths GCSE or equivalent qualifications.
- Flexibility and a team-player mindset, with the ability to work collaboratively with students, staff, and parents.
- Patience and understanding to support students with a range of needs, including dyslexia, ADHD, and ASC.
- In-house training and external training opportunities to develop your skills and knowledge.
- The possibility of teacher training and becoming a qualified teacher.
- A supportive and inclusive working environment, committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
