As an Application Modernisation and Containers Sales Specialist at Amazon, you will play a critical role in driving revenue growth and increasing market share in the UK Public Sector. Your primary objective will be to develop and execute a territory plan to grow the AWS Containers footprint, while managing numerous accounts concurrently and strategically.

You will be responsible for creating and articulating compelling value propositions around AWS Application Modernisation services, and for driving platform adoption within UK Public Sector accounts. Your commitments will include quota accountability, running programs, and ensuring success at scale.

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess a strong understanding of sales methodologies and toolsets, as well as significant enterprise account management or business development experience in the IT industry. Direct field experience in working with public sector accounts and at executive level is also essential.

You will be working closely with our demand generation, segment sales, solutions architects, partner and marketing organisations to drive opportunities to closure. Your ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders across multiple teams, as well as internal and external executive stakeholders, will be crucial to your success.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Drive revenue growth and increase market share in the UK Public Sector
  2. Meet or exceed revenue targets
  3. Develop and execute a territory plan to grow the AWS Containers footprint
  4. Manage numerous accounts concurrently and strategically
  5. Create and articulate compelling value propositions around AWS Application Modernisation services
Requirements
  1. Previous experience of sales methodologies and toolsets
  2. Significant enterprise account management or business development experience in the IT industry
  3. Direct field experience in working with public sector accounts and at executive level
  4. Strong verbal and written communications skills
  5. Experience developing detailed go-to-market plans
  6. Experience communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders across multiple teams, as well as internal and external executive stakeholders
