As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, including limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships. Your expertise in accounting, tax, and business planning will be essential in delivering high-quality services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage a varied portfolio of clients
* Manage client expectations and update clients with costs and time estimations
* Meet with new and existing clients on a regular basis
* Mentor and manage assistant managers and trainee accountants
* Prepare complex year-end accounts, management accounts, and VAT returns
* Review accounts and management accounts prepared by the team
* Ensure company accounts are prepared in accordance with financial reporting and accounting standards
* Review corporation tax returns
* Prepare personal tax returns
* Liaise directly with HMRC as required
* Compile reports, budget plans, commentaries, and financial statements
* Analyze accounts and business plans
* Financial forecasting and risk analysis

Requirements:

* ACA or ACCA qualified
* Strong knowledge of accounting for SMEs, including corporate tax, VAT, PAYE, and personal tax
* Excellent communication and leadership skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
