Job Opportunity: Virtual Social Media Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Virtual Social Media Manager to join our team at The Freedom Food Alliance, a project dedicated to promoting food transparency and combating misinformation.

About the Role

This is a flexible, remote role requiring approximately 30 minutes to 2 hours per day to create, schedule, and monitor content. As a Virtual Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing social media content calendars, monitoring and responding to comments and messages, and collaborating with our team to create engaging content and campaigns.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement social media content calendars to increase engagement and follower growth
  • Monitor and respond to comments and messages on social media platforms
  • Collaborate with our team to create engaging content and campaigns that align with our mission
  • Stay informed about trends and developments in food transparency and related topics
Requirements
  • Passion for food transparency, nutrition, and combating misinformation
  • Experience managing social media accounts (either personal or professional)
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and remotely
  • Familiarity with social media management tools
