We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Advanced Senior Pharmacy Support Worker to join our dynamic Pharmacy Homecare Team at University Hospital Southampton NHS Trust.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and support the Pharmacy Homecare Team in delivering high-quality patient care.
- Coordinate and manage the workflow, ensuring efficient and effective team operations.
- Update and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct sick reviews, appraisals, and initial performance reviews for team members.
- Manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively, utilizing strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proven leadership and supervisory experience in a pharmacy setting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, staff, and stakeholders.
- Strong IT skills, including experience with JAC computer systems.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a strong focus on patient-centered care.
- Qualifications: HNC (or equivalent experience) in a science-based subject, or 2 A-level passes in a science subject, or BTEC level 3 in a science subject, or equivalent knowledge and experience of pharmaceutical procedures gained through work experience and training.
