Production Coordination Specialist

Overview: The Production Administration Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the MPS Planning Team Leader. This position focuses on assisting with the planning and prioritization of manufacturing operations to ensure timely production and distribution of goods in a cost-effective manner. The ideal candidate will be proficient in production processes and committed to optimizing operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manually releasing expedited production orders and adjusting volumes outside the automated ERP system.
  2. Monitoring production progress, identifying delays, and adjusting priorities accordingly.
  3. Planning and balancing capacity to enhance operational performance.
  4. Collaborating with production teams to assess manpower, equipment, and raw material requirements.
  5. Identifying and implementing process improvement opportunities.
  6. Addressing operational issues promptly to minimize disruptions.
  7. Coordinating production workflows across multiple products.
  8. Entering sales orders into the ERP system and generating daily manufacturing orders.
  9. Compiling manufacturing documentation, including inspection plans and data sheets.
  10. Managing administrative communications and ensuring accuracy in document packs.
  11. Collecting output data, such as finished product counts and defect rates.
  12. Preparing and submitting performance reports.
  13. Organizing necessary paperwork and collaborating with quality control and warehouse teams.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in planning or scheduling within a manufacturing context.
  • Strong understanding of production planning methodologies.
  • Proficient analytical skills with a focus on data analysis.
  • Familiarity with SAP for information retrieval and reporting.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings.
