Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Golf Operations Assistant to join our team at Arora Group. As a key member of our golf operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our members and their guests, while assisting the Director of Golf and Golf Operations Manager with all aspects of daily golf operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Director of Golf and Golf Operations Manager with all aspects of daily golf operations, including planning, organizing, and executing club competitions and events.
  • Provide outstanding 5-star service to members and their guests, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience.
  • Assist with inventory management, merchandising, and pricing in the Pro Shop, as well as purchasing and receiving of shop items and customer orders.
  • Perform club repairs and fittings, and assist with monthly stock takes.
  • Enter scores, process fees, and finalize all competitions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Be flexible and willing to carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities within the job capability as assigned.
  • Display behavior that sets an example for other employees, and comply with all reasonable requests from hierarchical supervisors.
  • Treat members and colleagues with respect and sensitivity, and maintain impeccable standards of appearance and grooming.
  • Ensure confidentiality and secure storage of all intellectual property and data bases, both hard copy and electronic.
  • Work outdoors in changing weather conditions, and frequently stand, walk, and use computers throughout the day.

Requirements

  • Qualified PGA Professional with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service.
  • Proven experience in golf operations, with a strong understanding of golf rules and regulations.
  • Ability to lift up to 25kgs, and work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
  • Flexibility to work outdoors in changing weather conditions, and adapt to changing circumstances.
