Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Golf Operations Assistant to join our team at Arora Group. As a key member of our golf operations team, you will be responsible for assisting the Director of Golf and Golf Operations Manager with all aspects of daily golf operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Director of Golf and Golf Operations Manager with all aspects of daily golf operations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to members and their guests, ensuring a 5-star experience in line with our club's vision and mission statement.
  • Assist with Pro Shop operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and pricing.
  • Support the team with monthly stock takes, club repairs, and fittings.
  • Assist with planning, organizing, and executing club competitions, including liaising with other departments to ensure a smooth operation.
  • Enter scores, process fees, and finalize all competitions.
  • Perform other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned, including redeployment to alternative departments/areas if required.
  • Display behavior that sets an example for other employees.
  • Treat members and colleagues from all cultural groups with respect and sensitivity.
  • Attend trainings and meetings as required.
  • Maintain impeccable standards of appearance and grooming, wearing a clean and well-maintained uniform and name badge.
  • Report any case of harassment and discrimination as soon as it happens.
  • Ensure confidentiality and secure storage of all intellectual property and data bases.
  • Ensure member's and staff's information or transactions are kept confidential.

Physical Aspects of the Position

Frequent standing and walking throughout the shift are expected, as well as occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 25kgs. Frequent computer usage throughout the day is also required. Required to work outdoors in changing weather conditions.
