Job Overview

The successful candidate will deliver a comprehensive recruitment and administrative support service for designated divisions focused on medical professionals, ensuring compliance with all relevant NHS Employment Standards.

As a Healthcare Recruitment Coordinator, the individual will operate independently, possessing the capability to address a variety of inquiries autonomously (guidance may be sought from the Medical Staffing Manager or Head of Medical Staffing and Recruitment when necessary) and will exhibit a collaborative spirit as a vital team member. The role requires effective prioritization of tasks and the ability to manage competing deadlines to fulfill the responsibilities of the position.

Key Responsibilities

- Offer routine advice and support on recruitment and employment issues (including terms and conditions, remuneration, and leave entitlements) related to medical staff within the organization, catering to both management and staff needs.

- Operate within established policies, guidelines, and legal requirements to facilitate informed decision-making through the dissemination of information regarding medical staffing concerns.

- Serve as the primary point of contact for inquiries via telephone, in-person meetings, and electronic communication.

Candidate Profile

Qualifications

Essential

  • A solid educational background, including GCSEs in Mathematics and English or equivalent experience.
  • A Level or equivalent qualification.
  • Familiarity with a range of administrative and HR processes, gained through relevant training and experience at a diploma or CPP equivalent level.

Desirable

  • NVQ in Customer Services.
  • Skills in Coaching and Training.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

Essential

  • Previous experience in a large, complex organization.
  • Relevant administrative experience, preferably within the NHS or a similar environment.
  • A customer-focused approach with experience in a client-facing role.
