About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Activities Assistant to join our team at Adderley Green. As an Activities Assistant, you will play a vital role in creating a stimulating and supportive environment for our service users, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and deliver social and recreational activities that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our service users.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with service users, their families, and the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Conduct regular observations and assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance service user engagement.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each service user.
  • Ensure the security and safety of service users, staff, and visitors by adhering to Elysium Healthcare's policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Basic group work skills and the ability to communicate effectively with service users, families, and colleagues.
  • Minimum of 12 months experience in a mental health setting (desirable).
  • Initiative, motivation, and a solution-focused approach to problem-solving.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Awareness of mental health and its impact on functioning.
