About the Role

At Avery Healthcare, we're committed to providing exceptional care and experiences for our residents. As a Wellbeing and Activities Assistant, you'll play a vital role in supporting the Wellbeing Coordinator in delivering a wide range of activities that promote physical, cognitive, and social well-being.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain a safe and welcoming living environment, contributing to the positive image of the home.
Report any changes in residents' physical or emotional condition to the Wellbeing and Activity Coordinator, Home Manager, and care staff.
Support with ordering and preparing supplies for activities as directed.
Establish links with the local community to encourage access to wider community resources and promote intergenerational activity.

About You

To succeed in this role, you'll need to live our values of caring, supportive, honest, respectful, and accountable in everything you do. Our ideal candidate will have effective communication skills, verbal and written, and a positive attitude towards older people. Previous experience working with older people in a residential nursing Dementia setting is also essential.
