Agency Care Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as an Agency Care Assistant in Staffordshire. As a leading healthcare recruiter, Jane Lewis is committed to delivering high-quality care and support to vulnerable individuals.

About the Role

As an Agency Care Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, including nursing homes and learning disability services. Your duties will include assisting with daily activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and medication management, promoting independence and a sense of well-being among service users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with daily activities, including personal care and meal preparation
  • Manage medication and promote independence among service users
  • Work in a variety of settings, including nursing homes and learning disability services
  • Develop strong relationships with service users and their families
Requirements
  • Be over the age of 18 to apply
  • Have the right to work in the UK
  • Be a UK resident
  • Have a valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
  • Have 6 months prior experience in a healthcare setting
  • Have excellent communication skills and a basic knowledge of the sector
