About the Role:
Gratte Brothers Group is seeking a dedicated Health, Safety and Wellbeing Advisor to contribute to our commitment to safety excellence across all divisions. Reporting to the HSEQ Director, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our operations adhere to the highest standards of health and safety legislation, policies, and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough Health & Safety inspections and audits, generating comprehensive reports aligned with company and statutory requirements.
- Lead investigations into incidents, meticulously documenting findings and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Provide expert guidance and support to management and personnel on all aspects of health and safety, promoting best practices throughout the organization.
- Deliver engaging training sessions, toolbox talks, and inductions to enhance awareness and understanding of safety protocols.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the construction industry. A strong understanding of the 18th edition electrical safety regulations is essential. Experience in accident investigation (including root cause analysis), behavioral safety, and training delivery would be highly advantageous.
The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a proven ability to solve problems effectively, and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
