Job Description

Bicycle Therapeutics is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company dedicated to developing innovative medicines for underserved diseases. We are seeking an experienced Research Project Leader to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership: Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop a plan to deliver on the medicine vision for potential drug candidates.
  • Lead a multidisciplinary matrix team to plan and execute projects, establishing inflection points for data-driven project decision-making.
  • Work with the project team to identify core risks and mitigation plans for delivering candidate molecules.
  • Define and execute lead identification and lead optimization strategies for projects.
  • Drive urgency across project teams to deliver timely data-driven project recommendations.
  • Present project plans, progress, risks, and issues to senior management and governance boards.

Qualifications:
  • Education in a biological sciences field with extensive industrial experience.
  • Knowledge of the drug discovery and development process, preferably in oncology.
  • Project leadership experience delivering clinical candidates, preferably in oncology.
  • A demonstrable ability to influence in a highly matrixed environment.
