Bicycle Therapeutics is seeking an experienced Research Project Leader to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis. As a key member of our Research organization, you will provide leadership of projects spanning the drug discovery process from Lead ID to the selection of clinical Bicycle Radio Conjugate (BRCTM) candidate molecules.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Leadership
- Develop and implement project plans to deliver on the medicine vision for potential drug candidates
- Lead a multidisciplinary matrix team to plan and execute projects
- Establish inflection points to enable data-driven project decision-making
- Identify and mitigate core risks to deliver candidate molecules
- Define and execute lead identification and lead optimization strategies
- Drive urgency across project teams to deliver timely data-driven project recommendations
- Present project plans, progress, risks, and issues to senior management and governance boards

- Promote innovative approaches to problem-solving and communicate ideas persuasively
- Collaborate effectively with stakeholders across functions to align on priorities and ensure interdependencies are clear

- Qualifications
- Educated in biological sciences with extensive industrial experience
- Knowledge of the drug discovery and development process, preferably in oncology
- Project leadership experience delivering clinical candidates, preferably in oncology
- Able to influence in a highly matrixed environment
