Job Description

This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a leadership role within our Claims Department and contribute to the success of Employment Specialists Ltd.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Claims Team Leader to join our team and assist with the management of our Commercial Claims Department.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical claims background, including Commercial Property, and the ability to ensure the smooth operation of the team.

As a Claims Team Leader, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading and managing a team of claims professionals to handle client claims effectively
  • Creating a positive team culture and providing coaching and support to team members
  • Reviewing and managing quality assurance processes, including audits
  • Developing and implementing bespoke claims solutions for key clients
  • Managing complex and sensitive claims referrals
  • Authorizing claims payments and managing claims projects
  • Conducting strategic reviews of claims settlements and future claims philosophy

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

  • Confident claims experience, ideally within Commercial classes
  • Strong leadership and people skills
  • Client-centric approach, focused on delivering the best possible outcomes for clients
  • Attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
