We are seeking a highly skilled Claims Adjuster to join our team at AXA XL. As a Claims Adjuster, you will play a critical role in managing and resolving claims for our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and resolve claims for customers, working closely with the Claims team and other stakeholders.
- Coordinate with fellow claims adjusters to bring claims to resolution.
- Interact and collaborate with the practice leader, underwriting team, brokers, clients, and experts on assigned accounts.
- Take ownership of critical issues relating to claims management.
- Be involved in a portfolio of claims across various lines of business, including Directors & Officers, Employers Liability, Professional Indemnity, and Cyber.
- Deal with First Notice of Loss (FNOL) and open claim files.
- Consider facts, issues, and next steps in FNOL and identify further issues requiring clarification/investigation.
- Consider coverage and policy response.
- Identify matters that require referral to external legal panel or other service providers.
- Oversee the appropriate direction of the claim and the overall strategy to ensure the best possible resolution is achieved.
- Review and process claim payments within authority level.
- Deliver a prompt claims service to brokers and clients.
- Assist underwriters with claims summaries for renewals.
- Ensure all communications are dealt with appropriately and in a timely fashion.
- Ensure that all reserves are set and monitored in line with the reserving philosophy.
- Ensure that all internal and external SLAs are met.
- Ensure that customers are treated fairly at all times.
